This week, the RBG is sending pre-notification letters to 300 homeowners as part of a pilot project. Following evaluation, other homeowners in the municipalities of Delft, Schiedam and Vlaardingen will receive similar letters.
What is a pre-notification?
Homeowners who receive a pre-notification letter can review their property details online. These details include, for example, the condition of the property and the age of the kitchen. The RBG uses this information, along with market data (sales figures), to calculate the WOZ (Valuation of Immovable Property Act) value. Homeowners can update their property details online. This is referred to as a pre-notification.
What is the advantage of a pre-notification?
Accurate property data is essential for determining the WOZ value. Homeowners can now verify and update this data in advance. By issuing pre-notifications, we aim to reduce objections submitted after WOZ values are determined.
