The Valuation Chamber has awarded the Regional Tax Group five stars. This is the maximum score for the way the RBG implements the WOZ (Valuation of Immovable Property Act). The RBG received a positive evaluation on all examined aspects.
The RBG is proud of its employees for achieving this result. This makes the RBG the second tax collaboration organisation in the Netherlands to achieve five stars.
The Regional Tax Group
The Regional Tax Group manages taxes for the water authorities of Schieland and Krimpenerwaard and of Delfland. In addition, the RBG handles these tasks and the implementation of the WOZ for the municipalities of Delft, Schiedam and Vlaardingen.
What does the Valuation Chamber investigate?
The Valuation Chamber monitors municipalities and tax collaborations for compliance with the WOZ. Their checks include:
- the timeliness of issuing WOZ decisions
- the progress and quality of objection handling
- the accuracy and up-to-dateness of property characteristics (including the transition to and safeguarding of usable floor area)
- the valuation process for residential and non-residential properties
- the synchronisation with the National WOZ Facility (LV WOZ) and the alignment of the WOZ administration with other basic registers
