Last March, the RBG offered entrepreneurs the option to apply for deferred payment of the assessment until 30 June, because of the corona crisis. This deferment will soon expire, which means that the assessment for which a deferment was obtained will have to be paid before 15 July.
The RBG understands that it can be difficult to pay the full amount of the assessment before 15 July. This is why we offer the following options to entrepreneurs who have made use of the deferred payment arrangement.
Payment in no more than ten instalments
Payment of the assessment can be spread once only over no more than ten instalments. In that case, payment will be made through direct debit collection, for which the first instalment will be debited around 25 July 2020.
Extension of deferred payment
If payment is not possible now, a substantiated request for extension of the deferred payment arrangement until 1 September 2020 at the latest can be submitted. If the deferment is extended, payment can be made in no more than eight instalments as from 1 September, if necessary.
Entrepreneurs for whom the deferment expires will receive a letter this week. In this letter, they will find information on how to contact us.
